Greek goddess of wisdom, courage, strength, strategic warfare, the arts, crafts, and skills. She taught mankind many skills such as weaving and sewing to the women and agriculture and metallurgy to men. She always gave precious advice and stood close by through any danger. Athena protected the heros as they went to war and returned home. She is also the official patron deity of ancient Athens.
